Hosea is a book about unfaithfulness. It is a tragic portrait of unfaithfulness in life’s most important relationships: a husband and wife, and God and his people. So, I am going to touch on a few things that affect us as Christians from this book and the lessons we can draw from it. It is not a very long book but it has really critical pointers that when we take time to meditate on them, we get really important direction from it. We are Like Gomer
Does Fracking for Oil and Gas Really Affect the Environment and Public Health? William H. Price, Associate Professor, University of Texas of Permian Basin, Odessa, Texas 79762, 325-695-2095, e-mail: email@example.com
The perceived impact of oil and gas extraction by hydraulic fracturing (fracking) on the environment and public health is examined. Specifically we examined areas such as climate change, drinking water, and earthquakes. This study sampled business students at a West Texas university. We found these young adults had similar viewpoints to similar studies and surveys throughout the United States. We did discover certain university majors and career paths do have an effect on student viewpoints.
“No man can come to me, except the Father which has sent Me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day.”
EXPLANATION:All initiative toward salvation is on the part of God drawing the sinner towards Christ and not the sinner drawing himself to Christ. This has to do with the Holy Spirit convicting the heart of the sinner into repentance. I will let the soul understand that no amount of English from me can change him but if he can only follow the conviction of the Holy Spirit in his heart, he will be saved. I will encourage him that eternal life is only found in Christ and if he can avail himself and align with the conviction going on in his heart as I speak, his life will never be the same again. I will then lead him to Christ.
